Ingredients
  

For the Beef:

  • 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Oil for frying

For the Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes

For the Stir-Fry:

  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced

Instructions
 

Prepare the Beef:

  • Coat the beef slices in a mixture of cornstarch and flour.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan or wok and fry the beef until golden and crispy. Set aside.

Make the Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, sugar, and chili flakes until smooth.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables:

  • In a wok or large skillet, heat 1 tbsp of oil.
  • Add bell peppers and onions, stir-frying until slightly tender but still crisp.

Combine Everything:

  • Add the fried beef back into the wok with the vegetables.
  • Pour the sauce over the mixture and toss until everything is well coated

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
